Community Guidelines

1. The Short Version
Photograph the world, not other people. Be someone others are glad to share a map with. If you would not want it posted about you, do not post it about someone else. These guidelines apply to everything you can put in front of another player: hunt photos, captions, comments, usernames, profile pictures and text, direct messages, and the cells you paint on the map.
2. Photographing People
This is a game about colours in the world, not about people. Do not post photos in which someone is identifiable unless they are happy for you to. Never post photos of children who are not your own. Never photograph anyone in a place where they expect privacy -- bathrooms, changing rooms, medical settings, someone's home -- and never in a way that focuses on someone's body. If someone asks us to remove a photo of them, we will.
3. Never Allowed
Sexual content involving minors, in any form, real or drawn, is reported to the authorities and ends the account permanently and immediately. Also never allowed: sexual content generally; graphic violence or gore; content promoting terrorism, violent extremism, or organised crime; content encouraging suicide, self-harm, or eating disorders; sale of drugs, weapons, or other illegal goods; and content that attacks people over race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, disease, age, gender, gender identity, or sexual orientation.
4. Harassment
Do not target another player with insults, threats, sexual attention they have not invited, or repeated unwanted contact. Do not post someone's personal information -- their address, workplace, phone number, or the location of their home -- whether in a photo, a caption, a message, or a painted map cell. Do not organise or encourage others to pile on a player. Block and Report exist for a reason; using them is always a reasonable response.
5. Playing Fair
Hunt photos should be photographs you take, of real things, in the moment. Do not photograph a screen, a printout, or another player's photo to satisfy a colour. Do not falsify your location, use bots or scripts, exploit bugs instead of reporting them, or run multiple accounts to farm rewards or votes. Do not buy, sell, or trade accounts or currency outside the game's own systems.
6. Your Account and Profile
Do not impersonate another person, a brand, or a member of our team. Usernames, display names, and profile text follow the same rules as everything else here. Do not use the app if you are under 13, and do not use the Map if you are under 18.
7. Reporting
Every hunt, comment, profile, and message has a Report option, and every player has a Block option. Reports go to a human. Blocking is immediate and does not tell the other person. If you have found something urgent -- content sexualising a child, a credible threat, someone describing an intention to harm themselves -- report it in the app and also email colorhunttogether@gmail.com so it reaches us faster.
8. What Happens When Rules Are Broken
Depending on what happened and whether it has happened before, we may remove the content, hide it from other players, limit what an account can do, suspend it, or delete it permanently. Serious cases -- especially anything involving a child -- skip straight to permanent removal and, where the law requires it, a report to the relevant authorities.
